SYMFONY SPECIALTY

Symfony is an open source framework using the PHP language. Originally created by the French agency Sensiolabs for its own needs (under the name Sensio Framework), this project was then shared with the PHP developer community, eventually becoming Symfony. It is used by thousands of web applications, including Blablacar, Spotify, and Vogue France. Its community is large: there are more than 2,000 developers who participated in the project, and more than 300,000 developers.

This framework was created using PHP5, and therefore makes the best use of this version of the language. It is highly appreciated for its clear design and the readability of its codes. The Symfony Developer has absolute control over the configuration: from directory structure to databases, almost anything can be customized. Testing is made easier because it is possible to isolate part of the code and compartmentalize it. This aspect is very important, because being able to quickly test your web application is vital for a company, especially during a period of change.

Some still find fault with it: its security mechanism is quite difficult to use and reading files is not always easy.

The Symfony framework has the specificity of being updated regularly (every 6 months on average).
