JOB DESCRIPTION

The web integrator (or even HTML integrator) is responsible for translating the will of the graphics team into computer language. Its role is to compose the static layout of a website by adding all the graphic elements (text, image, video, sound) and taking into account the rigorous standards (W3C for example). In order to carry out his mission, he uses the computer language HTML (Hyper Text Mark up Language).

The integrator is in charge of the integration of the web pages, their consistency and the design of the graphic elements in a second step.

- TECHNIQUES -

The responsibilities entrusted to him depend on his experience and the size of the projects (size of the site to be created for example) with which he is confronted. Attached to a project manager, the integrator can work as a team with developers and graphic designers during project design to advise them on the integration method.

To be an HTML Integrator, the professional skills essential to progress in this field are mastery of CMS and code editors. In addition, he can also know useful tools for the web (Photoshop, ImageReady, DreamWeaver, Flash). The integrator has basic knowledge of programming languages ​​(Lingo, JavaScript, ActionScript, PHP, CSS).

If the Web Integrator has a good background in development (PHP, JavaScript), he can generally orient himself towards the front development profession. He has a know-how that leads him to be precise, rigorous and logical.
