The job of Product / Brand Designer consists in designing products according to specifications. Most often, the constraints are intrinsically linked to the products manufactured. Sometimes they have to be durable, other times ecological or even easy to learn, or technically complete. This profession evolves a lot depending on the environment in which it is practiced. Indeed, the Product / Brand Designer specializes according to his working environment.
So, some will be responsible for UX or User Experience, others for UI or User Interface, some will design Information Architecture (IA) and others Interaction Design. The specialization of the Product / Brand Designer is obviously determined by the product to which he turns. Medical equipment, electronics? Or a virtual, connected object? Daily physical object…? There is no short training course to become a Product / Brand Designer because the design of a product requires bringing together a set of knowledge that complements each other: graphics, digital art, IT and multimedia.
