PHP SPECIALTY

PHP is the most common language currently for an HTML developer or C developer, but it has not always been the case. Previously, the HTML developer or C developer used the .NET and Java languages ​​instead.

The PHP language has known several phases of development: PHP 4 was a procedural language (everything had to be coded) whereas with the appearance of PHP 5 object modules can be used. PHP can be used in 3 different situations:

• Without Framework (environment)
• Under a proprietary framework (created by the developer)
• Under an Open Source framework (Zend, Symfony, cakePHP, codelgniter)

In this Open Source sub-environment, the PHP developer can set up CMS (content management system): Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal, SPIP, Magento and Prestashop. The PHP developer often uses a set of free software such as LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP), MAMP (Mac, Apache, MySQL, PHP) and WAMP (Window, Apache, MySQL, PHP) to build a site. The PHP scripting language allows the generation of dynamic web pages and the communication with the MySQL server.

Junior: 38 K € (0 to 3 years of experience)

Confirmed: 50 K € (4 to 8 years of experience)

Senior: 57.5 K € (8 years and over)

Lead back-end: + 9% salary vs. experienced profiles without a lead role.
