The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing effective marketing strategies and plans to communicate the features and benefits of new products to customers.

He takes care of market research on current trending products, establishes schedules for upcoming products, influences prices and packaging, guides sales teams, develops messages and market positioning around the products and participates in presentations and events.

Frequently, the Product Marketing Manager is the “voice of the customer” within his company, precisely researching the needs and experiences of consumers. It is mostly found in private sector companies, but can be employed by any business that promotes and sells products.

The scope of the role of Product Marketing Manager is broken down into four parts: expertise in market strategy, marketing expertise, product positioning and sales support
